Feedback Thread: 2007 Year In Review

I enjoy ASB&R the same way I enjoy the Max Punisher series. I suppose being disinterested in "in continuity" series helps. As far as I'm concerned, the only problem with ASB&R is that it isn't in 3-D. If they fix that in the trade, it will be the first time I buy a trade when I already own the original issues.

Warren Ellis has mentioned in his mailing list that New Universal will resume in the next few months. It was put on hiatus while the new artist was wrapping up prior commitments.

Given the behind-the-scenes tinkering that's come out regarding the 'One More Day' storyline, do you think that part of your enjoyment of Squadron Supreme, despite having a "Hollywood writer", is because it didn't have the burden of trying to fit into the Marvel U's current continuity (whatever that means in the wake of OMD, LOL), and had less editorial "input"?

I'm going to call Jonathan Hickman my favorite new creator, and The Nightly News, 'Most Innovative New Title'. His pages are as distinctive as McFarlane, Liefeld & Lee's pages were nearly 20 years ago, and more distinctive than anyone who's come out since.

Image is probably my favorite publisher, and they only reason they were overshadowed by Dark Horse in 2007 is because of Buffy.
