BCW 7.5% off codeword

Post by JohnMayo »

FYI, BCW has a coupon code of COMIC good for 7.5% off on purchases of at least $75 that you can use anytime before December 24th, 2008. You enter in the promotional code when prompted during the check out process and your order total will be adjusted accordingly.

If you use either the link in this post or the one near the bottom of the front page of the Comic Book Page website, I get affiliate credit for the sale. Any such income will goes towards offsetting the cost of the website.

Update: If, for some reason COMIC doesn't work as a codeword, try SAVE-BCW instead. I just got a second email with that as the codeword and I'm not sure if both will work or just one of them... :?

I was going to post this later! I just got the email too. I do enjoy using this company, mostly for boards. It is great to order 1k+ boards at a time and get free shipping. They come in 2 boxes and weigh a ton.

Yeah, I should probably do that. I'm constantly running out of bags and boards.

Well thanks for sharing that John. I am going to be placing an order for 10 packs of bags and boards before the holidays.

Do it. If nothing else, price it and see what it compares to what your paying now. I buy about 1k at a time. Just for fun I checked to see what shipping would be on 1k boards without hitting free shipping and it would have cost 75 bucks, UPS ground. So I'm not sure how they are making any money off me.

I bought 1000 bags & boards at the Frank&Son show (local SoCal comic show that runs out of a trucking warehouse every Wed & Sat) and paid $60.

That's a bit more than it used to be, but still a pretty decent price. Given the cost of gas to drive up there & back, that's about $70 all in.
