Gaiman's Sandman or Moore's Swamp Thing.
I'm wondering guys which one I should read first. I'm going to read both, but I wanted to get you guys' opinion on which one to read first. I appreciate all feedback.

I'd definitely say Swamp Thing. They're really wonderful stories and, frankly, the reason that the character is still recognizable. Moore really pushes the envelope on that series and made it, for my money, the best, in continuity, non-superhero series that DC ever published.
I can't really speak for Sandman, I recognize what it accomplished but, from what little I've read, it just never appealed to me. Although I think Gaiman is a brilliant writer.

Depends on what you're in the mood for......
Of the 2, I personally like Sandman more. I think it is much more of a masterwork/essential reading, as an entire run. Maybe it's because Moore was really playing in DC's playground with ST (a character he didn't create, but he did "re-invent") whereas Gainman created Sandman, the Endless, and the whole mythos that went with them.
That being said, Swamp Thing has some really good story arcs in it, but for my $, the 1st story (Anatomy Lesson) was the best. "The Curse" was a damn fine arc also.
By comparison, Gaiman did not hit his stride until a ways into Sandman. I personally thought Season of Mists, Brief Lives, & Dream Country were the best arcs of Sandman, and those fell in the middle of the run.
Just my opinion.
PS: While you're at it on these, you should consider the Preacher run by Ennis.
