Thank you for responding.
That is so cool that you picked up a bunch of comics.
I went to Dragon's Lair (Hawaii) after work. Dragon's Lair (Hawaii), my local comic book store, still had a lot of customers in the store when I got there. They ran out of a lot of free comics. 1) That's okay because it's a sign that store did very well that day, and 2) I'm waiting for my free comics through DCBS.
I picked up from Dragon's Lair:
Valiant
I bought on sale:
Fear Agent Vol. 3 TPB-The Last Goodbye
Rick Remender (W) and Tony Moore (A)
I heard a lot good things about Fear Agent and decided to give it a try.
Aloha!

Re: Happy Free Comic Book Day!
Hello Jason! So we wrapped up a very successful FCBD at Kowabunga. It was the the highest sales we have had in a single day since James and I took over the shop! You asked what we had going on, so here is the rundown:
* 40% off Priced Back Issues, $1 issues, back issue sets, recent/new book wall
* 20 off bags, boards, and boxes
* 10% off Wall Books (including 2x Avengers #1, 2x FF 48, Batman Adventures 12, Action Comics 252, Hulk 181, Giant Sized X-Men 1, and more!
Pokemon tournaments at 10:45 and 1:45
Super Smash Bros. tournament at 6:00 pm
The shop was open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Our biggest books that were taken for FCBD were probably Oddly Normal, Civil War, and Suicide Squad.
For more information on the business side of things, keep an ear out on Comics for Fun and Profit, as we recorded a little reply for Kyle and Drew about how we as retailers view, and enjoy FCBD.

I can't believe I missed this too. Such a good opportunity to grab the comics. I was busy with my blog.
