Weekly Comics Spotlight #34
This episode will not download from iTunes. It errors out all of the time. I even tried dropping the subscription and adding it manually and that did not work.

I'm testing it now...comicm wrote:This episode will not download from iTunes. It errors out all of the time. I even tried dropping the subscription and adding it manually and that did not work.
I've started up iTunes and I'm using the WCS sub-feed (the iTunes link in the Weekly Comics Spotlight column on the Episodes at a Glance page)...
WCS #034 downloaded fine.
I'm not sure what to suggest...

Very strange......
I am seeing the same thing when I try to grab Ep 34 from the iTunes on my laptop......
However, I went over & did a "Get" just now from the iTunes on my Desktop machine & it downloaded just fine.
We'll try to figure out what is going on.
In the meantime, the direct download from the web-page should work fine.

It seems that if you subscribe to the feed you can get the file but it you go to the iTunes store and browse the feed you can't.
The problems seems to be that iTunes has cached an older and incorrect version of the feed information. I'm trying to figure out how to get iTunes to refresh the data is has.
The evidence of the older data in the store browser is the lack of the Mayo Report: 2008-02 Trades which was released on Wednesday.

It looks like this is fixed now. You may need to close iTunes and reopen it and then go to the iTunes store and search for Comic Book Page to get the new feed data.
I was able to download the episode fine that way (after having been able to reproduce the problem reliably using that same process).
Sorry for all the problems downloading this episode...
