Don't have the titles on me, as they aren't books I own, but I've read at least one book on Caniff, and a couple of books on the history of comic strips that included coverage of each. I believe there was also a new book released just this year on Raymond but I haven't read that. But my point was that so far, as of issue #1, we really don't know what type of historical coverage Glamourpuss is going to have. I found very little in issue #1 that really constituted new coverage. So I really don't know if Dave's historical exploration will be of interest to me or not. Based on issue #1, the primary reason for me to keep reading is the wonderful artwork.

Don't know specifically - but I'd assume, based solely from reading the first issue, that's the kind of thing that could very well appear in the text of future issues.

I do know that Dave just came back from Syracuse, NY where he was doing some intensive research into Stan Drake.

True..I guess we'll ahve a better idea as the issues (hopefully) keep coming out.

I was asking, actually, b/c I'm interested and would like to put the books on my radar for eventual reading.
