Another great cast guys. The only book of the three I read was "The Last Fantastic Four Story". It was a fun Stan Lee story and the JR JR art was fantastic (pun fully intended). My favorite part was the scene with the Silver Surfer sitting on his board in space. Writing and art was perfect. As to the "Last" in the title, it was always meant to be Stan's last FF story, not the last FF story overall. Looking at the solicitation: "Legendary writer and Fantastic Four co-creator Stan Lee unites with artist John Romita Jr. to tell his final story of the team that started the Marvel age!".

The core problem I had with the Last Fnatastic Four Story was that in the story, the Fantastic Four essentially retire at the end and that seemed very unheroic to me.

So while I had issues with the title and that this might be Stan Lee's Last Fantastic Four story, my core problem was the in-story lameness of it being the last Fantastic Four story.

Personally, I think if Stan Lee can do more stories of this quality with the Fantastic Four then he should...
