Future State of DC Comics

Hello, everyone! Not sure if anyone remembers me. It's been awhile since I've been active here or on Slack. Slack seems too busy for me, so I decided to focus my discussions here instead.

As John and James have stated, DC hasn't really been working for me for quite some time as well. To the point where I stopped buying comics from DC.

I'm sure this topic as been discussed on Slack already, but who else besides me is SUPER excited about DC Future State? I was so ecstatic about it that I even reached out to Eric from Kowabunga Comics to put me on the pull list yesterday. Lots of comics for the event will be coming out. I hope I won't be disappointed!

Future State looks interesting to me. If things work out well, they could keep a title or two going afterwards to keep these characters active.

I think putting the ongoing title on hiatus for two month is risky. Given how many titles ended prior to Future State, we'll likely see a flood of new titles and creative teams in March. We'll see how that works. Hopefully DC isn't getting into the habit of a two month intermission of ongoing titles every so often in order to keep the release schedule working.

I just hope DC gets things back on a track that I like. While they have had some great titles lately, the over all direction of DC hasn't been entirely to my liking for a while.

I know what you mean. Hopefully, this will be like a period of course corrections of sorts to get their characters and stories to being more interesting and less dragged out. So, John, you planning to get any of the Future State or Endless Winter titles? What about Generations Shattered?

I'm getting all of Endless Winter, Generations Shattered and Future State. After that, I'm not sure what I'll be getting from DC.

Wow, going all in! I'm getting most of the titles. Let's come back here and discuss when we've read certain titles and see what we think about them.
