This is the place to discuss the episodes of the Comic Book Page podcast, the Comic Book Page website or pretty much anything else of interest to the Comic Book Page community...
I Killed Adolf Hitler by Jason - Great art and fun, twisty story. (Fantagraphics)
Cartoon Clouds by Joseph Remnant - Really enjoyed this one, story is autobiographical in nature with three recently graduated art students. (Fantagraphics)
those sound pretty good - on hoopla?
Absolutely. Great selection of Fantagraphics material on there.
Is it the last issue of Elsewhere?
Also, will get Outpost Zero in trade. It's Sean McKeever! (Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane)
Yep last issue he said sales weren’t strong enough for continue and it won’t be coming back
Outpost zero was great - McKeever is heckuva writer

Blammo #6 by Noah Van Sciver (Kilgore Books) - This is my first issue of Noah's comics work. I've read some of his graphic novels already. I like his humor. Some of it is a bit crude at times, but it's personal and honest. Similar to how a Crumb, Pekar, or some of those types. After all, it is alternative comics. Recommended. Also, Ethan does write a quick two pager!
Jerusalem by Guy Delisle (Drawn and Quarterly) - I like this one a great bit. It's a travel memoir comic, and they seem to be popular in the alternative comics world. Loved Guy's Hostage, and this one was solid as well. Not as good, but still recommended!
On deck:
Tim Ginger by Julian Hanshaw (Top Shelf) - He had his new book, Cloud Hotel, come out. As I wait for it, I'll read an earlier work.
Why Art? by Eleanor Davis (Fantagraphics) - This will be my third Davis book. She's great, and her works are awesome. Try her out guys!
All books are either purchased or read from my local library. Support your library anyway you can.

Drew, It looks like you have another good selection this week. How are you liking the new direction for Amazing Spider-Man? Still liking the Black Hammer universe? And how are you choosing to pronounce "Obliv18n"?
