Should I renew the Marvel Collector Corp?

Post by JohnMayo »

It is time for me to make a decision on if I'll renew the Marvel Collector Corps subscription box or not. It is a yearly subscription for $150 (for six boxes) plus $41.70 shipping and $15.83 tax.

Thoughts?

I stopped mine after four boxes. Just wasn't enough items that I liked to continue. I think it would be better if the cost was lower but alas they are trying to make a profit not break even

Yeah. Usually a Funko Pop, a t-shirt, a variant cover comic and maybe one other item.

I would drop it too. You seem to like the shirts you get from the shirt only box. At this point you must have a t-shirt a day to wear. Plus, you don't really do the variant game, so you have the issues. On top of that, if you DID play the variant game, in most cases by the time you get the comic book the value has already dropped. I would say nix it, personally.

I've decided to not renew the Marvel box.

Depending on how many segments we have each month the Collector Boxlight episodes might switch to a bi-monthly schedule. I'm not sure yet.
