Some Amazon fish revealed this news.

It actually looks cool. Depending on the price point and discount, I am there.

This confuses me.

Why do a Secret Wars II Omnibus HC when there was never (to my knowledge) a Secret Wars I Omnibus HC (or even regular HC)?

The only thing I can think of is maybe Marvel thinks that people actually care about Secret Wars II given the discussion regarding it following that issue of the Illuminati mini series.

I am hoping that Marvel would do an Oversized HC of Secret Wars.

I know it sounds weird, but I am glad that Marvel is doing this. I was hoping for an essential version but color is always better. I never actually read the whole thing because of money issues when this came out (I was only 14 when this came out). So this is pretty cool.

The mind boggles. In line with what Kramer said, unless it ties in REALLY nicely with Secret Invasion, I am completely baffled. There are far more deserving stories out there.

I think that Amazon has advance solicited a Secret Wars I omnibus/hard cover.

The first Secret Wars series was my gateway into the larger part of the Marvel Universe. Prior to that I was only getting the John Byrne Fantastic Four and Alpha Flight. After that I was getting most of the Marvel Universe.

If the price isn't too bad, I'll probably pick up the Secret Wars Omnibus.

I am in for both. That Alex Ross cover looks fantastic. It seems that he painted over the classic Mike Zeck cover.

Ross typically does a painted re-creation of the #1 for these Omnibus editions.

I don't remember it being that great the first time around when I read it and I won't be getting it.

The only thing that I can think of as to why they are putting this out is that the Beyonder has something to do with Secret Invasion that is being speculated by internet.
