Feedback Thread: 2007-09 Trades
I'm totally agreeing with you guys on that JSA Volume 1 Trade. 4 issues for $20 bucks? Please! Even with #1 being double sized, I still think it's a bit lacking. They could've easily included the one-shot issues before the current arc. Issues 7 and 8 could've fitted into that first volume, giving us 6 issues and spotlighting characters that were introduced to new readers who were jumping on with the new volume (me). I understand why issue #9 couldn't have been included as well since it starts this new "Kindom Come Sequel" storyline, but the other two could've easily been included.

The JSA volume 1 was a hardcover, not a trade. That suggests that DC might be moving some of the titles to a comics then hardcover then trade paperback publishing model. I can see how that would maximize the income from the material but I'm not really in favor of it.
Of course, since I'm only getting the monthly comics and neither the hardcovers or trade paperbacks I guess it doesn't really matter if I'm in favor of it or not.
