Re: So Long Bob and Thanks a Million
I want to echo everyone's thoughts about Bob leaving the podcast and say thanks to Bob for so many great years. I always appreciated the amount of time and effort that Bob (and John) put in on a weekly basis for the show.

Re: Collecting Original Art......
A piece of OA featuring a rain scene is kinda cool. Grats! Thanks. Ok, this may seem excessive but Chris Samnee had a sale of Monday of pre-drawn sketches. Listening to the 11 o'clock guys, I knew that Chris Saminee doesn't sell original art and therefore having the opportunity to buy an original a...

Re: New in your Silver/Bronze Age Collection
After seeing and talking to Bob, I was inspired to continue my goal of buying older back issues. My main focus will be Amazing Spider-man, Batman, and Uncanny X-Men, but also older books of characters I love. Primarily comics from the Bronze Age and the 80s. I recently purchased the following from e...

Re: Collecting Original Art......
I recently received a Chris Burnham Batman Incorporated Page. And no, it isn't from issue 8. Those pages were way above what I was willing to spend. It is from Batman Incorporated 7, page 12. It a scene where Red Robin is escaping is escaping an exploding building. When I originally read the issue, ...

Re: 1st issue Challenge
Five Weapons - I originally didn't pick this up but when Bob and John gave it great reviews on their show, I decided to pick up both 1st and 2nd issues. I am so glad I did. It is so good. The concept, story, and art work very well together. East of West - The first issue of this series continues Im...

Oh, yes!! I have this one, the Booth Spider-man, and one more I am waiting on before I re-arrange my comic book room. Currently, I have most prints in frame. But I am going to move some things around.BobBretall wrote: That's really nice, Hassan! Are you going to frame it?
Right now it is safe in my portfolio.

Re: Collecting Original Art......
I got home today and besides checking to see if my copy of Batman Year One was still in the house (it was), I finally received a Rafael Albuquerque page from his digital Batman story that he wrote and drew. It looks so awesome. This is my second Albuquerque piece and definitely not my last. In addit...

Justice League of America #1 - I thought this book rocked. The introduced the entire team in this issue with some great character moments. It has shades of John's JSA run and classic Suicide Squad. This could be the best team book out there. Justice League of America #1 - I thought this title suffe...

Re: Has Winter Solider been cancelled?
I pretty much ignore Bleeding Cool rumors. Actual news breaks plenty soon enough before something happens that knowing about it (maybe, if the rumor pans out) a week or 2 early is just extra churn. I have been ignoring Bleeding Cool rumors as well. First of all, I rather enjoy the books in the pres...

This is really sad news. He was too young to die. My thoughts are with his family.
I still remember the first time I saw his art. It was in Stormwatch and I thought it was great. And he continued to do great work over the decades.
