Hey Bob,
Just wondering if you could give us an update on your ASM collection. Last I heard you were getting damn close but I don't remember how close!

Ha! Too bad there wasn't a Golden Age run of Spider-man or you'd be in some real trouble.
Only 75 more issues of Captain America's Golden Age run to go for me!!!

Word on the street is you finished off Amazing at Phx. Do you still need AF #15?

Yes, I got ASM #4 in Phoenix, and I now need to get Amazing Fantasy #15.
HOWEVER......
AF #15 is REALLY pricey, even in low condition, so I'm not likely to be getting it any time soon unless I just stumble onto one hell of a deal somewhere......

Congrats! You must be giddy, that's very cool stuff. Did you get a good deal on ASM #4?
As to Amazing Fantasy 15, even a 3.5 or 4 will set you back a few thousand dollars, would you be willing to pay guide for it?

I think so. I got it about 1/3rd off of guide.

Yeah, that's what I meant by REALLY pricey. I'm not going to pay guide for it though. With all the recent fascination with high grades & CGC, lower grade books seem to drop year-over-year as often as they go up. As such, I have no incentive to pay full guide for anything in VG.
Only thing that would get me to cough up the $$ would be finding one at 2/3rd guide or less (and, as a reminder, I paid about half guide for my ASM #1, so deals are out there).

With Amazing out of the way...what's the next series you'll focus on finishing?

I only need 3 issues of Avengers (2, 3, 4) 2 issues of Daredevil (1 & 2) and 2 issues of Iron Man (1 & 55), so probably those.
