No More Columns on CBR?

John,
Does the 'new' CBR affect your articles?
I noticed a big format change to the overall site including the dropping of their columns. For example, Brian Hibbs can now be found on Comics Beat -

The Mayo Report articles are continuing as far as I know. Obviously that could change but so far, I haven't heard anything to indicate that.
According to
ComicsBeat.com:
And the number-crunching Mayo Report by John Mayo seems to be ongoing.
I'm not sure what to make of Heidi not making the effort to ask me about the situation.
The articles could simply be continuing because they are monthly articles versus being a column. From my perspective, there isn't much of a difference. I'm happy at CBR and plan to continue doing the articles there for as long as they want them.

I am glad your articles will continue to run on CBR; I always enjoy reading the Mayo Report then following it up with the podcasts.
Also, CBR's new look took me by surprise, for about 30 seconds I thought I was on ComicBook.com instead. I wonder if anyone had a similar experience.

FYI, I post the articles
here on the ComicBookPage website as well. So as long as I'm writing the articles, they will always have a home here at the very least.

I had a similar experience. I've read
a lot of negative comments about the new format but CBR is working out the bugs of a new format. Most of the issues should be corrected over the next couple of weeks and then I'll check it out again.

Perhaps it was just me, but looking through solicits on the CBR site was an utter and complete pain. The jumbo image size really makes the scrolling on a computer or iPad a pain in the butt, and the rendering time is not very performant. Perhaps that just me.
