Potential spoilers for Katana #3/4 and Phantom Stranger #7

Between PS#7 and Katana 3/4, Jack Ryder and Creeper have been introduced to the New52. I also understand he was mentioned early in Justice League International, but I could be mistaken.

What caught me off guard though was in Katana #4 where Creeper smells Jack Ryder. The editor's note says that more information about Creeper's relationship with Jack will be seen in The Creeper ONE-SHOT coming SOON. I find "soon" to be a stretch since I haven't seen a solicitation for this.

What do you think about this? Could this be part of the rumored villains month of one shots similar to zero month last September? Is/was Creeper a villain? DCU Presents has ended, but could this be a series of one-shots that replace it?

Presumably we'll see The Creeper one shot in the next round of solicitations which should start popping up online this week. If so, the one shot is about two or three months out. I wouldn't exactly consider that "soon" either.

No mention of a Creeper one shot in the solicitations for items shipping in August. So the soonest we'll see the one shot is September.
