Mayo Report 2011 - 05 Trades

Post by heroesmask »

You guys mentioned the Walking Dead Compendium as being 24 issues. It's the first 48 issues. That thing is HUGE. It would be a useful tool to whack Zombies in the head with when the apocalypse comes.

The value is there for the money. It's a great reference copy but the spine gets pretty messy over time, that's my only complaint. But it's nice to give people to read if they want to try it out. I let my son borrow it and he tore through it in about 2 days.

FYI, I accidentally linked to the Mayo Report: 2011-04 Trades episode in the RSS feed instead of the Mayo Report: 2011-05 Trades episode. I've fixed the link. You might need to download it from the website to get the right episode. Sorry about the mix up.

And, yes, HeroesMask, you are correct about the length of the Walking Dead Compandiums.

I think I've got the math correct now on the Walking Dead collections: Six issues makes a trade. Two trades make a hardcover. Two hardcovers makes an Omnibus and two Omnibus make a Compendium. Or something like that...

Too funny. I kept thinking while listening, I think I've heard this before. Kirkman just keeps on with that money machine called Walking Dead collectoins. lol
