mycomicshop.com site redesign

Post by Master of the Mystic Arts »

What does everyone think?

I hate it! Too much white space means I have to scroll a lot. I find it harder to read/use than the old site. When did they switch?

I think they switched a week or two back. At least, that was when I noticed it. I'm not a huge fan of it either. On the upside, the display of the want list is a bit better.

Seems a bit more difficult to use, but that's probably because I was so used to the old design.......

I'm sure in time I'll get used to it. A lot of the problem is searching around for the "intuitive" place they have hidden the stuff that I used to be able to easily find.

Just like the new "easier to use" Microsoft Office" suite. Took me several weeks to get used to where they moved everything to.

I didn't care for it and it frightened me. I am not good with writing down URL's and I thought I had the wrong website. At a minimum they should have something up about "new and improved" so that those of us that are brain-dead know that it is the same site and not some phishing site set up by Russian hackers to steal my credit cards.

I also do not like how it appears on the screen. I am not one for change I guess.

Hey you kids, stop playing on my lawn....

I like it. In fact, it is so much easier for me to buy and sell that I went ahead and put a sell order in and trying to figure out an issue to buy now.

From what I can tell, it looks like maybe the site redesign gets rid of the bogus scan problem we were all bitching about a while ago. At least it no longer appears that there is an actual scan if there isn't, which was a big problem they fell into in the last year or so.

The zoom feature for scans is nice.

I dig it. Seems to operate similarly enough to the old layout yet with more info on the screen. Thumbs up.
