DCBS Code for April

Post by jkarguth »

Over on Comicbloc they spotlight a different code each month. This month is "trinity10" for the four Trinity books which gives you an extra 10 percent off those books. I was pretty happy with this one. It seems a bit overkill, but I am not going to complain.

The Comicbloc codes seems to save me a little bit each month. Nothing major but every little bit helps.

I really love how DCBS works with so many podcasts on discounts like that and the ones Bob and I get to pick each month. I think that anything that helps get readers on to more titles is a good thing.

You don't need to go to Comicbloc to find out the code. It's embedded in the Excel spreadsheet each month. Just click on the cell that computes the discount and inside the formula you will see this month's code word in addition to cgs8, which entitles any first time buyer 8% off their entire order.

True but it is worth checking out Comicbloc too if you can.

I tell you, that 8% your first order would have been damn nice to have had when I first started with DCBS. My first order was $1,983.70. Saving $158.70 on it would have been nice. But given that I was switching from buying locally to online, I saved at least that much in sales taxes I wasn't having to pay...

And that is why you are Wood. And yet another reason why I need to switch to doing orders on that excel sheet.
