I liked it a lot, more emotional and gloomy than action. The art makes it very special to read and enjoy, looking like dream sequences and still managing to convey the 30s Hollywood setting.

agree on both counts - i stayed away from the 2099 garbage detour - didnt miss much i dont think

No I read some (alfa omega ff doom) and dont get what the tie-ins were about at all... Didnt seem to tie in to the spiderman/doom story in amazing spiderman very much.

did anyone read savage avengers #0 ? i was surprised that it was all a rerun but maybe solicits made that clear? anyway i remember reading this one when it was published in sweden and liked it then and liked it now. compared to modern comics this was a read that took several days for me. new writers should take notice...

Prices are the same 40-50% off cover - right now you order with spreadsheet while they build their website - they bill you after you recieve your shipment which is a big difference from DCBS - they are very resposnsive customer service wise which is also different from DCBS
