So Chip Zdarsky, who just won an Eisner for his comedy writing for Jughead is writing Spectacular Spider-Man and in issue #2, he apparently thinks Peter Parker would ask Riri Williams for her autograph?? Seriously? This title is all kinds of awful. I'd be happy to explain how I've reached that conclusion if you really don't agree.

yeah - its been half awful / half pretty good for me - and the last ASM was much better than most so my new rankings are:
1.Spider-Man
2. Renew Your Vows
3.Tie-Peter Parker/ASM
4.Spider-man Homecoming fan fiction

My comics for 7/26

• Action Comics #984 – Looks like the whole Sup-Family is getting together
• All Star Batman #12 – real solid story going on here
• Batman/Shadow #4 of 6 – my favorite thing out right now
• Doom Patrol #7 – really far behind on this, so not sure what is up
• Mother Panic #9 – its okay, just riding it out until cancellation which can’t be too far away
• Shirtless Bear Fighter #2 of 5 – just stupid fun happening in #1
• Punisher #14 – pretty much how I like my Punisher
• Dr Aphra #10 – took the cross-over off, so we’ll see how this goes
• Weapon X #6 – this title has been a good surprise
• X-Men Blue #8 – looks like Emma Frost is back
• Robotech #1 – this is on a short leash
• Amazing Age #2 – first one was pretty good for a buck & a half

I'm a little behind with the JK 100 series since I only decided to dive in this week. But since I'm been enjoying the Kamandi Challenge and some of the DC special projects (like the Hanna Barbera and Looney Tunes) I decided to dive in.

Still haven't made up my mind about checking out the Mr. Miracle. I love the character and some of previous series with him, but saw blurbs about it being "oh can he escape his own mind"/"is it real" sort of story - not sure if that was true but I've felt very burnt by that sort of story line in comics so I'm waiting to hear how true that is or not and how well done it is.

• Action Comics #986 – Everything is coming up Supes lately
• Batgirl #15 – sometimes these Nightwing/Babs crossovers can be flipped for okay cash
• Batman/Shadow #5 – really digging this mini
• Detective Comics #963 – excited to see where this goes
• Mother Panic #10 – I think I have more unread issues than read at this point…probably get canceled soon anyways
• Shirtless Bear-Fighter #3 – this is just stupid fun, emphases on the stupid…but good
• Generations: Thor – this is probably the begin of something
• Peter Parker Spider-Man #3 – a pretty fun Spidey book, but also the only one I’m reading
• Punisher #15 – this isn’t a great Punisher run, but not a bad either…a solid B
• Dr Aphra Annual – Enjoying this title, a good continuation of her character in the Vader from last year
• Weapon X #7 – surprised I like, but could just be titled Sabertooth, Wolvie, & Friends
