Scooby-Doo Team Up #23 with Quick Draw McGraw - Just fantastic funny book. I was laughing out loud at this one. A+ for me.

I'm sure John will read this, but this title still is tons of fun! A great nostalgia trip!

Really enjoying Motor Girl. Third issue added another layer to the story. I might have to checkout Strangers in Paradise by Terry Moore I really like his style.
Am I the only one still enjoying Black Road? Brian Wood is a great writer and I feel like this title has got lost in the shuffle.
Read Black Hammer Annual #1 this week as well. Amazing that it worked so well with the different artists and writers in on this one. It's another special book that seems to be struggling in the sales department.

I might have to checkout Strangers in Paradise by Terry Moore I really like his style.

Michael, absolutely you need to read SiP. It's wonderful. You will get hooked on that story in a hurry.

I am still on this title, and loving it. Brian Wood is one of those writers who suffers from being a known name, but not always getting the following he deserves. He can write in many genres, and really hits it out of the park. Some of his other things are Briggs Land (in my current top 5), Rebels, Starve (one of Drew's favorites), Northlanders, and Aliens: Defiance. Not to mention he did a 4 issue mini series as a tie in kick off for the video game EVE: Valkyrie, which was out of this world (pun intended). I am not a gamer, and have never played EVE, but this mini was deep, and had no barrier to entry. This guy is a great writer. Here are his credits for those interested:

Adventures of Super Hero Girl by Faith Erin Hicks (Dark Horse) Funny book so far.

Just finished:

Superman: For All Seasons by Loeb and Sale (DC) A++ So good.

Aquaman Rebirth by Abnett (DC) Caught up and it's such a fun super hero title.

Titans Rebirth by Abnett (DC) Art is a little off at times, but it's still fun.

Peter Panzerfaust vol 2 (Image) Very good series.

But really, I do love Michigan. It's home. Older I get though I do find myself fantasizing about someday wintering in Boca Raton. I turned fifty this past year and this is the first winter of my life that I have been feeling the dreaded weather changes in my knees, ankles, and wrists. How am I this stinking old? I don't know when it happened.

Motor Girl has been super so far and I'm also still reading Black Road. I've meant to drop it a couple of times cuz I have so many books I'm reading but it has been too good to drop. Such a dilemma.

Kamandi Challenge #2 - This was still good, but the artwork from Adams was a sub-par effort from him.

Warren Ellis' Planetary - Just started this. Almost done with the first trade. One thing I have learned from reading Warren Ellis whom I love the work. Don't be sleepy when reading his comics. You will have to start over.
