The MTU #1 was a little more -- $167. I got it in last month's auction.
Nice. I keep debating if I want to start a CGC collection. Nothing high-end like ya got there, but stuff around a 7.5 or 8. Nothing that is too expensive, but something that is still a decent copy and retains a little value. Something I can have to leave the grand kids as a small investment ... so they can turn around and sell them right after they get 'em.

I'm really skeptical about buying CGC comics as an investment. Since you can never read them, if you just want an investment I'm guessing there are LOTS of better things to invest your money in. Precious metals, for instance. In fact, if you get precious metals you may be able to use them for barter, come the apocalypse, something you won't be likely to be able to use your CGC comics for.

I guess if you take them out of the slabs..... you don't want to be breathing in that burning plastic.

Maybe you'd be better off learning how to throw them like giant ninja stars to brain people attacking you.

Nice books bob! Is that strange tales the one where they tried out cap before really bringing him back in Avengers 4? Turns out he's a robot or 50's cap or something like that?

I've been working on a strange tales run in the background for a while.

Yes. It's the 1st Silver appearance of "Cap", and it turns out

that he is Torch's old foe the Acrobat in a Captain America costume.

Great finds on those white cover avengers books! 98 with a clean cover is kind of tough to find.

Good haul.
