Maybe just play each persons submissions all together then comment on anything they mentioned that is worthy of note? Might save some edit time that way, plus I would get the "comment after each submission" I am apparently craving :? I don't think you need to comment on every title mentioned, and if you hate them all you can just acknowledge the contribution and move on.

edit: I'm not sure that first part was too clear; I meant if 1 person has a submission with 3 picks, play all 3 picks together rather than chop them into 3, then comment on the submission as a whole.

Lord Shaper wrote: I do like it when there is some comment on some of my submissions, like on the Red Star Sword of Lies TPB from last month, but I don't expect it since some of the things I talk about only have a limited audience and if the guys have nothing to say about the book due to not reading it or not liking it I don't think that would work as entertainment for any of us.
Sure, and I agree, negative comments go against the intent of these shows; I guess I'd just prefer a half-hearted "interesting picks, thanks" to no acknowledgement whatsoever.

You reminded me to thank you for the Red Star recommend, I picked up the Run Makita Run annual from a 40 cent box at a local show and loved it. The trades are now high on my want list. So thanks. And, to my previous point, I think Bob backing up your recommend had a lot to do with my picking it up, or at least remembering it.

Fair enough! We'll see what we can do on this front.

Good question.

Bob sends out reminders when the online solicitations go up, another when Previews comes out and a final one a few days before the deadline. I'm not sure what else we can do to encourage you guys to send in clips.

I know that Tiki and Ian are on the emailing list but I'm not sure if you are or not, Wood.

Anybody who would like to be added to that emailing list should email TheGuys@ComicBookPage.com and request to be added to the list.

We have an open submission policy and would love for more people to participate each month.

I've just been insanely busy with the markets melting the last six weeks, and have barely had a chance to breathe much less think about Previews.

Complete understandable and unfortunate.

I'm no stock market expert but I'm pretty sure that the Dow can't go negative so either way, there should be an end in sight...

We're in a death spiral now unfortunately. Systemic, generational damage.

I added you to the e-mail reminder list, Wood.

Ian & Tiki are on the list, I guess they have just been too busy to submit anything lately.
