I'll make my decision on which minis I want after seeing all the creative teams announced.

Wow. That is a lot of material. Probably way too much for the current market to bear.BobBretall wrote:http://www.ifanboy.com/content/articles ... announced_
15 minis????? PLUS extra one shots?DC announced today that Flashpoint, it's big event for 2011 will include:
1.) A five-part central mini series from Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert
2.) Fifteen additional mini series (to be revealed throughout the day)
3.) A heap of one-shots
Even with "Holding the Line at $2.99" that seems a bit excessive to me.......
It's possible that they will suspend their regular series during Flashpoint and just replace them with these minis. I'm hoping that's what they do, so we get this pile of Flashpoint INSTEAD of the normal stuff not IN ADDITION TO the normal books.
To be fair, CBR should do the math on how much would it cost someone to get all of the Batman, Superman, X-Men, Transformers and Avengers titles over a six month period.Cromics wrote:from CBR,

but spread out over 5 months, it's not too bad. I will probably get all of them. Haven't fully immersed into an event since Civil War.
My guess is that DC will use Flashpoint to relaunch some of their low selling titles.Paul Nolan wrote:So DC have released the May solicits for Flashpoint, the Superman books and the Batman Books.
Firstly Flashpoint is going to be 5 issues.
Secondly one comic "cancelled" in the solicits is Batman and the Outsiders, with issue #40. Does that mean that the the Flashpoint: The Outsider starts up in June.
It'll be interesting to see how many more titles are "cancelled" in Mondays release of the May solicits.
