Re: KICKSTARTER: What are you supporting?

I really don't have the funds to throw around on Kickstarter but, every now and then, something comes along where I have to break down and do it. One was a Brom artbook by Flesk. The other, also by Flesk, is The Art of Mark Schultz Kickstarter.

This was a no-brainer for me:
• Schultz is one of my favorite artists. His high-end art "sketchbooks" are a delight. So getting the newest one, CARBON, as a hardcover was something I don't have to think about.
• Do I really need another XENOZOIC collection? Probably not but I've wanted a complete hard cover for years but Flesk always held out until now.
• Flesk has always been great with their art books. They are local for me, are always pleasant, and target those higher end artists that I like. I've been buying their books for ten years. And they have a track record for getting it done.
• A video showing Schultz's art process is gold for an artist like me.
• No buttons, t-shirts, free kittens, or any junk that I don't care for. Just get me the product I want at a fair price. $100 isn't chicken feed but it is a fair price for the HC collection, the HC Carbon book, the video, and I think a print in there.
This reached goal in the first day so whatever else they are getting adds to unlocking more goodies. They are more than double of their goals so this will get made but I posted it here in case any fans of his work missed it and want to get in on it before it ends.
