Written by Darkly Dreaming Dexter author Jeff Lindsay himself I really enjoyed this book. This first issue set up a story of a high school bully of Dexters that may know about about his dark passenger and even have his own. The art was good, not great but told the story effectively.
A quick note to fans of the TV show, this clearly takes place in the book universe. As someone who has read and enjoyed all the books released to this point this didn't bother me at all. While the first book and first season of the show were the same until the resolution they have taken quite different tacks since then. Not a bad thing just know if you are expecting the show universe you won't get it here.
