Great job guys. I just got the Final Crisis hardcover. I really wish they could have put in those two pertinent Batman issues, but I guess those are part of Batman RIP too? I don't know I didn't read RIP. I got a much better grasp on the story after reading the hardcover. I plan to read it again! I'll use the old 'onion' cliche...there are so many layers to peel back.
I'd like to read more about Darkseid. Anybody got any essential Darkseid story arcs to recommend?

Last Rites, Batman #682 and 683, bridges the gap between Batman R.I.P. and Final Crisis. While they follow-up Batman R.I.P., they're really more important to Final Crisis, but DC probably couldn't have packed more issues into the HC. We've got your back though. After a hectic week on my end, I'll be getting the Batman episode to John. I actually just got the HC and plan on re-reading it (again) one afternoon this weekend.
