The new Previews hit the stands Today (August 26th).
Since Sept 4th is kicking off Labor Day Weekend (and Bob is going out of town with the family), we're going to do the Previews call on Friday September 11th at 5pm Pacific / 6pm Mountain / 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern.
As always, get on Skype around the start time (or join any time after, the call can run 4 hours of rousing comics chat) and look for thejohnmayo message him to get joined into the call.
Submissions for the Previews Spotlight #023 show should be in by the end of Friday September 11th
Of course you can start sending in submissions as soon as you have them done. Sending them in early is appreciated as it give us more time to organized the clips and plan out the episode.
Remember: We encourage anyone to send in a short audio clip where they can talk about any book that's coming out in the upcoming Previews that they are really excited about. The email address to send the clips to is TheGuys@ComicBookPage.com. (Some people were only send them to either just John or just Bob and we both need to get them to prepare to recording the episode. By using TheGuys email address, the email goes to both Bob and John.)
PLEASE: Each featured item should be in a separate audio file.
We would also appreciate it if you put the page number followed by the full name of the item in the filename. If you don't know the page number, that is fine. Just leave it off. But having the full name of the item the clip is for makes it much easier for us to organize the files and prepare for recording the episode.
Tips on how to record a clip can be found here.

Hey, Chris Johnson.......something you're going to want from IDW this month.... (though you may already have an earlier edition)
THE ART OF DITKO HC
Written, art and cover by Steve Ditko.
Steve Ditko, the co-creator of Spider-Man and Dr. Strange, remains an enigma, though this book draws us closer to the artist and gives us a better understanding of his amazing work. Introducing the very best of rare and striking Steve Ditko comic book stories and original art, this large-format beautifully showcases Ditko's work, with many reproductions of original art pieces by the master comic book artist. Edited and designed by Craig Yoe (Secret Identity), with essays by P. Craig Russell, John Romita, and Jerry Robinson, plus an all-new introduction by Stan Lee.

You know me well Bob. This is one of my most anticipated books for the fall, along with Strange Suspense Volume 1. I don't think there's an earlier edition of this, although some of the stories included might have been reprinted elsewhere. I'm particularly excited for the art emphasis in this book. I was going to buy it regardless, but then you throw in original art and essays by John Romita and Jerry Robinson? Without question a must buy.
I'd like to put my 'dibs' in on the following comics for the Sept-->Nov issue of Previews/Marvel Previews
Deathlok #1
Bionicle #7 Realm of Fear
Psylocke #1
Strange #1
Thor #604
Transformers #1 (monthly)
Deadpool Marvel Team-Up #899
Batman The Cult TP
Let me know if there are any issues.
Thx,
Trevor Chapman
