First off- I love PHX and Cactuscon. If you're within driving distance or can get a good deal on a flight I highly recommend the show. The staff/volunteers are great, good variety of panels and guests, you can see the whole show in a weekend, and you can't beat the admission price.

I didn't find a lot of comic deals (hope that will change more with the bigger space), but did see some kick butt sketches being done, and I enjoyed sitting next to Dan Parsons all weekend. He's the inker on many of the DH Star Wars books and the only person my girlfriend asked me to get an autograph from.

Here are a few of my shots-

Hate that you'll miss it next year, Bob. PHX was the first place we got to meet you.

I'll hate missing it too, but what can I say? Going on the Weekend of my 25th wedding anniversary would be very poor form (if I want there to be a 26th......)
