I am actually more excited about the new direction of the Superman titles than I was a few weeks ago. With Rucka on Action and Robinson on Superman, they are going to be very good stories.

I am also more excited about Rebels than I was when it was first announced.

I wish I could say for the Bat-family titles. Except for Battle of the Cowl mini, the other minis don't really interest me. I might pass on them and wait for the relaunch in June.

I am still interested in Titans and Teen Titans, although I could do without the upcoming crossover. The solicits don't really excite me much.

I am going to pass on Solomon Grundy and Strange Adventures.

As for trades, GREEN LANTERN CHRONICLES VOL. 1 TP and SHOWCASE PRESENTS: THE DOOM PATROL VOL. 1 TP look great. I always wanted to read the original Doom Patrol comics, so this is a good way to start. If I like them, I would buy the archives. Green Lantern is probably my favorite DC character right now, so I have to get this.

I hope in April we will get the new Flash and JL books.

Same here, except I'm definitely going to pass on the Battle for the Cowl minis (except the main one).

I'm also jazzed about the new Jim Starlin "space" mini-series Strange Adventures, and the Zatanna statue!!!

Solomon Grundy could be fun but I'm not a Kolins fan.

The one thing I have been thinking about the Battle for the Cowl minis and specials. By the time these ship, DC would have been milking the lack of Batman in Gotham for months. The current Nightwing and Robin story arcs already are dealing with the impact of Batman gone. Dennis O'Neil, Gaiman and Dini plan to have stories publish on that theme before March. Especially, Robin, which I thought has been an OK storyline but dragged on too long just so that they could fill out the schedule.

KnightFall and KnightQuest were events that dragged on too long as well (years). I am going to pass on Batman & Superman from DC. Going to order the Solomon Grundy mini, finish up on Trinity and Justice Society (Geoff Johns is gone and so am I).

I have a handful of Vertigo titles I pick up monthly (as long as they stay $2.99) and I will be picking up the collected Green Lantern Blackest Night.

While not a March solicitation...something caught my attention that made me take pause. Slated for release in June (according to Comic Shop News) is "The Flash Presents Mercury Falling TPB - collecting Impulse 62 to 67.

Might this mean the return of Max Mercury or Bart Allen. I figure that storyline must tie into the return of Barry Allen. Having never read the series, I can't say. Hoping someone on the board might be able to shed some light.

It would be cool to see Max Mercury return. But that would seem to be a little counter-productive with Barry returning as the Flash to have another speedster return around the same time.
