Happy Free Comic Book Day!

I hope everybody got their Free Comic Book Day issues they wanted from their shops.

If you get a chance, please feel free to share what you picked up, either the Free Comic Book Day issues or something on sale, from your LCS.

Free books that I picked up 'Atomic Robo' and 'DC's Super Hero girls' for my nephew and neice and 'Absolutely Normal' for my daughter. Grabbed the Overstreet guide to collecting for myself. And since there was a sale, I also left my LCS with several Bronze Age back issues (Conan the Barbarian, Uncanny X-Men, and Marvel Team-Up).

I didn't get to go until just before dinner time so the pickings were probably slim, but I already ordered the main books I wanted via DCBS.

That must have been some sweet deals on those Bronze Age back issues (Conan the Barbarian, Uncanny X-Men, and Marvel Team-Up). What issues were they?

I picked up a copy of "I Hate Image" by Skottie Young.
Mahalo Kyle and Drew for mentioning it on your podcast, Comics For Fun And Profit Episode# 377. I almost missed that one.

I picked up a Free Comic Book Day Underdog for a co-workers daughter.

Dragon's Lair was having a sale on their current comics (25% off) and trades/Hardcovers (15%). I picked up a sweet find: DC's Will Eisner's The Spirit: A Celebration Of 75 Years. (Chris Marshall, Mahalo for that recommendation.)

I picked up some current issues that I normally don't read; such as, Thunderbolts #12-Secret Empire Tie-In, Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #2 & #3, and Guardians Of The Galaxy #19 (Ending Bendis' run).

I'm like you, I ordered my key FCBD issues through DCBS.
