I'm starting to accept submissions for the Previews Spotlight #002 episode which will cover the December 2007 Previews.
Ideally the submissions would be only a minute or two long and in addition to the basic information of the publisher, title, issue number and price, give a short and compelling reason why someone should pick up that comic book. In other words, market and sell that comic. Think of it as a short radio commercial for the item. Keep it clean and family friendly. If the comic book itself is for a more mature audience, mention that and who would like it and who might not. The idea is to help readers find the right comics for them. This is essentially a matchmaking service between comics and readers.
If you need a little more time, take it but try to keep things focused and concise. Also, please name the files with the title and issue number of the item and your name so I can keep things organized.
If you are going to submit something, please post what which item you are going to do so we can avoid duplicates and cover as wide a range of items as possible.
This is in addition to the monthly Previews conference call that Bob and I will be holding on Friday, December 7th. http://www.thecomicforums.com/forum2//i ... ntry687278
If you have any questions about the Previews Spotlight, please post here and I'll try to answer them as quickly as possible.
The deadline for emailing me the submissions for the December Previews is the end of Saturday, December 8th. I'll try to edit together the episode and release it as quickly thereafter as I can.
