Looks like DCBS had the order up for the last two, the 1:700 was $350. however, they sent a reply to someone who ordered it:
"As of right now, it looks like only the first 3 people will be able to receive the variant. You are #6 in line. We will know for sure at the end of the month. If you would like to cancel the item before then please let us know and we can do that for you. We apologize for the inconvenience."
Sure it's ridiculous, but I think it would be cool to own that because there can't be too many out there.
Can anyone guess what your average LCS orders for a title like ASM? I have no idea, but I can imagine even 200 could be a lot.

I suspect they are going to make more of the 1:700 than there are shops that will order >700 copies.
I'd guess maybe 20-30 shops will order that many?
I'd suspect they'll make at least 100 if not 200.
but $350? That's crazy. For that kind of money you could get a VG copy of a Spider-Man comic from 1963.

Ok, so apparently this isn't true anymore. Diamond has said they had a typo and the 1:700 is actually 1:100, and 1:750 is actually 1:150. That's a long time to correct a typo, isn't it?
This whole situation seems a little strange.

Was it a "typo" or was it "Gee, hardly any shops are jacking up their orders to get the 1:700, maybe we'd better notch that down a bit"abysslord wrote:Ok, so apparently this isn't true anymore.
