The purpose of this thread is for listeners (and John & I) to keep track of the best stuff we're seeing in comics as we read them throughout the year. This will save us from having to go back and re-think about everything when we're trying to put together the "best" part of the "year-in-review 2008" next January.

I am focusing on creative teams that stay on a book for a while, and who I think is the best fit for the book.

I really don't stick around issue to issue on any title except for Walking Dead, so I feel like I'm all over the place.

DC:
Writing - All-Star Superman
Art - Lopresti on Wonder Woman
Character/Team - Justice League Unlimited, RIP...
Storyline/Title - Dini's retcon of Batman and Zatanna (Not really a storyline, but it is character development I really thought stood out. A nice respite from the constant in-your-face events.)

Art - Immonen on Ult Spider-man (Haven't seen JRJR yet...)
