This one is a Brother MFC-J6510DW Printer/Scanner/Fax that has an 11x17 glass surface. Seems to work good!

Here's a very cool Batman commission I got from Stuart Sayger at Phoenix ComiCon:

Did you have to pre-commission this and pick it up at the con, or were you able to have him do it right there at the con?

I commissioned him at the con...... I was really impressed with his work, he was on one of my sketch-off panels, the 1st one that happened Thurs evening. Watching him do the sketches standing there next to me convinced me I needed to have him do one for me, so I commissioned him Friday morning at the start of the show. He had it done by Saturday morning.

Got this at the Motor city con. Took me a bit to get it posted. I loved E-Man way back when, and now Joe Staton is doing Dick Tracy, whom was always my favorite newspaper strip, so I thought this was perfect.

What's a sketch-off panel? Sounds like a competition...

Not a competition. Something that happens at the Phoenix Con every year, we had 4 sketch-offs this year.

We get a bunch of artist's up on stage & there is a combination of ideas from the audience, plus ideas from the moderator (who was me, in this case) of things to draw.

As the artist's are drawing, they would answer questions from the audience (or from me if there were no audience questions at a given point in time) so they could talk about their influences, technique, etc.

As sketches were completed they were shown around the room, and ultimately they are auctioned off in the charity auction on Saturday evening.

I believe we raised ~$4500 on sketches from the sketch-offs for a children's literacy charity. (Note: They also auction off other donated art, not just what is created at the sketch-offs).

That sounds pretty cool. They haven't released the schedule for FanExpo yet, but it looks like they'll have something like that. I'll have to make sure I get in to see that.

I won this on Ebay. Whilce was on the list of creators I wanted a page from, and I am enjoying the Incredible Hulk series (including his painfully short run). So I picked this up at the asking price since no one else bid. I like that it shows his version of anatomy, his particular brand of noodling, and the stark shadows he's prone to. You guys weren't kidding when you warned me that buying original art becomes addictive.

Picked up a Snarked page at Heroes. Roger's uses smaller size sheets for his interior pages, 9x12. I like the layout of this one:

Nice. How much was he selling them for (if you don't mind saying)?
