How well has the new 52 shifted in your shop?

This is the place to discuss the episodes of the Comic Book Page podcast, the Comic Book Page website or pretty much anything else of interest to the Comic Book Page community...

I also never hear talk of digital comics, and as far as I can tell there are none of the JLA combo pack available to be bought. Are the digital books available in Canada? If not that could be why I don't hear it, if they are, then I'd say my store seems to be firmly in the anti-digital arena. Could be wrong though.
A lot of stores are afraid of digital as competition, although stores have the option of having a digital portal to Comixology on their own web-site, so that allows them to get a cut of digital sales (but I know not all stores have web-sites).

ANY of the books are available digitally, the JL Combo pack just has a code in it that can be redeemed on line, but you can buy them all on-line if you want. NOTE: Price should go down to $1.99 after the #2 issues come out.....

Heck, if you have no preference for your own LCS (because they didn't point you there) use the portal at forum member Dan's comic shop:

It's great that so many people are buying comics, but on the other hand if lots of the great issues are selling out then when a new customer comes in to buy a comic and there aren't any there, then they likely won't be coming back. Hopefully this doesn't happen to too many new readers.
If the LCS owner has a clue, he will tell someone who comes in for a sold out book:

1) We'll have 2nd prints in stock in a week or two
2) You can get them digitally, here's the URL for our store's web-site, you can buy them there and read them today!
Even is a LCS gets a cut on any digital comics sold through their website I can totally understand if they are a little weird about promoting it.

Thanks for the shout out Bob :)

My philosophy is, I would rather get a portion of the digital sale then nothing at all. If someone comes in looking, I have no problem letting people know that the digital is available as well as when the second printings are coming (which is on the same day as the #2 is released for all of the new 52 except Action Comics and Justice League which have already come out). I think it is a poor idea for retailers to pass up on the digital sale opportunity if you can't supply the physical issue. It's better than them going out and downloading a pirated copy somewhere.
We now have digital comics for sale. Check out our shop
