This is the place to discuss the episodes of the Comic Book Page podcast, the Comic Book Page website or pretty much anything else of interest to the Comic Book Page community...
Because of Comic-Con, Horton Plaza in San Diego had the First Avenger movie a day early on July 21st. I also happened to be my birthday so it was a no-brainer for me to attend.
I could not make the free 10am showing which had Chris Evans introducing the film. Something about the word "Free", the starring actor, and Comic-Con gets people lining up at 3am. Go figure!! lol I thought I might have problems so I had a back up plan in place and already purchased the next showing at noon.
There wasn't anything planned for the paying noon customers but we did get to see the USO girls, get some free swag, and see Chris Evans giving interviews in the lobby. Blair Butler did her First Avenger/Cap segment right in front of us as well.

COSPLAY...
Actress Jennifer Wenger as Wonder Woman....
That's funny. She was a street performer who would stand on the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard dressed as Wonder Woman and change people to take pictures of her. There is even a documentary about her and other folks working in the same field on Netflix called Confessions of a Superhero
Jennifer Wenger is her name. I saw the doc. She actually has some talent too. She's been getting some acting gigs but still manages to cosplay with her actress/room mate (Poison Ivy).
