Re: New Tales of the Toshigawa OGN at Heroes Corner
Hey Martheus, you know we love Jetta!martheus wrote:The book is currently up at Heroescorner.com for pre-order and will soon be up on dcbservice.com as well. I hope you guys can help spread the word on the forums as well as give the new book a read as I am extremely proud of the work on this book.
Now, I'm going to assume that people are not going to switch their provider to HeroesCorner JUST to get Jetta (even though it's a really cool book). In fact, it's the first time in a year or so that I've even heard someone mention HeroesCorner.
1) For DCBS customers I'm going to assume it will be available in March (I don't recall seeing it on the Feb spreadsheet). We can do an interview for next month's Previews show, if you'd like.
2) We have listeners that use NEITHER DCBS not HeroesCorner: Will people be able to get it direct from your web-site?
3) We have listeners that use SciFiGenre.com as their mail-order comics provider. Not sure how much they do with offering Indie stuff not in Previews, but you might want to reach out to them to see if you can get another possible channel for sales.

Yes, always healthy to have more retailers making a go of selling comics.Trev wrote:I had no idea HeroesCorner was still in business. Last I heard I thought they were on the verge of folding.
Good to know they are still around!
Last I heard of HC was all kinds of early adopters jumping ship when they lowered their discounts.
Yes. The book will be available at DCBS as well as on my site www.toshigawa.com in March. The release date is March 28. But my site is taking pre-orders now and DCBS will be taking pre-orders here soon. I sent you a PDF of the book, Bob. Hope you like it!
Please give this book a look comic book page forum. This is the best work I have done on a Jetta book yet and I am very proud of it.

Just a heads up...... DCBS appears to have screwed up the Excel spreadsheet on this one. If you follow the above link, it's 50% off on the web-site, but it is showing up as a 25% discount on the spreadsheet:martheus wrote:Discount Comic Book Service has Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa - Full Circle on sale right now for $4.95. Martheus, you may want to rattle their cage, as this may cost some sales for people who just order via the spreadsheet & don't look at their web-site solicits.
More Art to Preview!!!
Good looking out. I will give them a yell and make sure they are aware of it.
Thanks Bob!!
Here are some extra shots from the book that I promised in the interview we had today. Action and fisticuffs flying.
