Is it more like Walking Dead or Crossed? I love Walking Dead but didn't really like Crossed, probably because it was a little too messed up for me (I only read the first one or two issues). If I like Walking Dead and most things zombie, should I pick this up? More Walking Dead, but not LIKE WD, if ...

Marvel's comic numbering is starting to feel like they are numbering software as opposed to comics. What was so wrong with just doing a one-shot story with the regular numbering? Slapping a .1 after the number isn't going to get somebody to pick up the comic anymore than just having a plain old numb...

No doubt the next round of solicitations will include Avengers: Canada starting Wolverine, Vindicator, Wolverine, Guardian, Wolverine, Northstar, Wolverine, Aurora, Wolverine, Puck and Spider-Man. The special guest star in the #0.0.1 will be Patch. I just wanted to say thank you. This made me...

Key of Z #1 (BOOM) - This story is basically like all the other zombie stories ... apocalypse, survivors grouping together in clans, zombies walking around, etc. I like Walking Dead, and I like Crossed ... and I like this. There are enough things that happen that make me want to know more, and it i...

Based on all of the people liking All-Star Western I may have to go pick it up from the store. And since I just got the second printing: Swamp Thing - I really enjoyed this issue. I've only read a little bit of Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing, so I was a little confused by some of the stuff mentione...

If the LCS owner has a clue, he will tell someone who comes in for a sold out book: 1) We'll have 2nd prints in stock in a week or two 2) You can get them digitally, here's the URL for our store's web-site, you can buy them there and read them today! That would be good. I've heard a couple of the w...

At least half of the #1s were selling out completely at my store, and it seemed like most of them were being ordered in fairly large quantitites (for my store). One reason that some of them seemed to be selling out though is that multiple people were coming into the store and buying multiple copies ...

There's nothing negative with getting 8 books a month. What if the 5.5 million or so people who bought the Iron Man 2 DVD also got 8 books a month. That would add 44 million units sold to the 5 or 6 million currently being sold per month. I know it will never happen like that but it puts it in some...

I got a bunch of the DC #1s. And Brilliant. Aquaman - This was an awesome comic. I think I will definitely be sticking with this. I've never read much Aquaman before and only really know him from the Justice League cartoons, but I felt this helped me get to know who he was. I, Vampire - I was really...

Hello everybody! My name is Derrick and I currently live in Calgary, AB, but am soon moving to Victoria, BC with my wife of 3 years. I had started reading comics around 2001 but had recently fallen off about 6 months ago. I'm back in now, mostly because of the new DC 52, but not buying that many iss...
