that's exactly why I am wondering. I've seen the omnibus on ebay going for way over $100. I just don't want to order the TPB and a few months later see a HC solicited.

I would suggest looking into some Crossgen series you might have missed like Ruse and Meridian. Most of their titles ran to the mid forties and can often be found on the cheap. Anyone know of a program that can run on a mac? It seem that collectorz has mac support on all their programs except for the comic collection program. I have been using comicbookdb, but would like a non browser based program preferably with barcode support.

The chance of new books coming in to fill the gap is high. But I wouldn't put it past DC just reboot the books back to #1 to pull in new readers. We have yet to see the fate of Batman so I guess anything is possible at this point.
