I'm so late to the game, I KNEW someone would snatch up Sweet Tooth (Curse you DBM ;) ).

Now I scour a very lean Indie section...

Re: Superfan: John Jackson Miller episode

I also think that the push for anthology titles discounts the evidence from places like iTunes which clearly illustrate that many people prefer to pick just the content they want versus having to pay for an entire album of music for just a few tracks. I suspect that the same holds true for comics a...

Do you think this may be a by product of the Morrison/Didio rewrite spat we heard about?

John, I do understand your point and I respect your opinion on the matter. Maybe the answer isn't with us or the retailers but a "changing of the guard" needs to happen at the big 2. By that I don't mean the creative people (i.e. writers, artists and editors) but rather the suits holding t...

That seems a bit like stirring the pot for the sake of doing so. The potential outcomes are to encourage people to not buy something, to get people focused on the negative aspects of a price hike and to foster a reader versus publisher attitude. None of which seem like a good thing. I think your ov...

Re: Unforeseen benefit from cutting pull list

I knew cutting my pull list would have some benefits like extra cash in pocket and catching up on my "To read" pile, but I now have a renewed interest in comics. I never realized that my love of comics was waning. Every week my "to read" pile was growing and I felt I would never...

I have to agree with Chris Neseman from AC & 11 0'Clock when he states the exclusive contracts are the thorn in Marvel's side financially. Marvel even outright states this in their quarterly sales disclosures. I have no idea why this fact doesn't get more press. I have nothing against a creator ...

I know I'm dreaming here...

WWhat if as fans we stage a protest on the on the $3.99 price point. What I mean by that is as fans we pick a top selling Marvel book and a top selling DC book and refuse to buy them for one month. I'm not saying to stop buying the chosen title all together just one single pre-determined issue numbe...

I enjoyed this episode immensely. It breaks my heart that a few bad apples make it hard for the other honest LCS guys and girls to get ahead. I do love John's idea for moving New Comic's Day to Thursday but keeping all the shipping mechanics in place. We have had great discussions about the Wednesda...

You mean something like this or this ? OK. In all fairness the Newsarama article states the issue #28 being a starting point on the very last line. The CBR refers to the Danny Ketch Mini as a good place for a source (to understand GR #28). Regardless, I still bow to you. (bleep). ;) the Tiki http:/...
